TĂȘte de lecture - a new literary event

Grand-Métis, August 12, 2015 - The actor Yves Heck invites to bring a short text (1 or 2 pages) that you wish to have read and which, when chosen at random, will be perform by him. This literary performance is presented on both Saturday, August 22 and Sunday August 23 at 3 pm at the Jardins de Métis/Reford Gardens. Confirm your presence at rsvp@jardinsdemetis.com if you wish to participate in this literary adventure and have a text to bring. Please confirm the date of your attendance.

Tête de lecture is at once a moment to be experienced and a time to participate. It is an experience that evokes the senses, invokes the emotions and offers moments of surprise. A text with tender moments that is important to someone close to us and that comes alive in the telling and the sharing when read aloud. It is like a laboratory of the act of reading with the public. It is an exploration of a process that leads of from the intimate silence and privacy of a passage to the collective act of a theatre of words. Tête de lecture puts the public at the centre of the spectacle.

The Gardens will be open every day up to September 27, 2015. Children 13 and under are admitted free of charge. Consult http://www.refordgardens.com for more information.
